Monkey Man 2024 Budget:
Monkey Man is an upcoming action thriller movie with the main character based on the Indian cultural God Hanuman. The movie is directed by Oscar nominee Dev Patel and also involves Jordan Peele as a producer.
Reportedly, the budget of Monkey Man Movie has crossed Rs 300 crores. It was decided earlier that the film will be released on Netflix which had struck a deal in the region of 30 Million Dollars for most worldwide rights to Monkey Man on March 12, 2021.
However, Jordan Peele felt it deserved a theatrical release and acquired it under his Monkeypaw Productions banner, with a distribution deal with Universal Pictures.

Monkey Man marks the debut of Dev Patel as a Director, this was announced on October 29, 2018. It was described as a John Wick in Mumbai film when Netflix acquired worldwide rights to the film in 2021.
Filming & production of the Monkey Man film began on Dec 16, 2020 and were finished on Feb 26, 2021. Since the film dwells in the Indian Culture and environment, the Filming locations used were Mumbai (Maharashtra, India) and Batam (Indonesia).

Monkey Man Storyline:
Monkey Man story follows Vijay, an anonymous young man working in an underground fight club. He sets out to exact his revenge upon corrupt groups, who are responsible for his mother’s death. Monkey Man follows Vijay’s ‘Revenge is Primal’ Instinct with the ‘Blessing of his mother’ against the corrupt leaders who systemically victimize the poor and powerless.
